When Lauren Barré and her husband, Brad, decided to build a home years ago, Lauren discovered she had a passion for interior design and decorating. Since that time, she has developed these skills by assisting numerous family and friends to create warm and inviting spaces in their homes. Additionally, her appreciation for organization and expertise in the design field have expanded through her ownership of Kings Antiques in Shreveport.Lauren thrives on seeing the potential in every space we design. She is uniquely able to see the big picture and envision the perfect end result from early on in the design process. She enjoys building new relationships with clients and CIO has a lot of repeat customers thanks to her kind and caring attitude.
When Lauren is not meeting with clients, she can be found managing her fabulous staff at Kings Antiques or supporting her daughter Chloe (a high school student) in her many activities - frequenting football games and entertaining groups of Chloe’s friends in her home. Lauren loves Hallmark Christmas movies, eating healthy and traveling with her husband, Brad, and their daughter, Chloe.

Saige Solomon likes to say designing storage solutions is in her blood. Her mom, Deneé Locke, owned Closets in Order for 15+ years before moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to start Inspired Closets DFW. When Saige had the opportunity to go into business with Lauren to co-own and operate CIO, she couldn’t pass up the chance to carry on the family legacy. With over a decade of experience in fundraising and event planning for her alma mater Centenary College, Saige brings her talent for building relationships to the team to ensure every client receives the attention they deserve. She finds great pride in being able to listen carefully to a clients’ wants and needs and designing a space that is just right and custom to the individual.
When she’s not designing beautiful and creative spaces, Saige spends her time with her husband and their daughters Lilly Grace (10) and Maggie (6). She enjoys true crime podcasts, Peloton rides with Cody Rigsby, binging a good Netflix series, and traveling with the Barrés (and other friends!). When it comes to home organization, Saige is a wizard at untangling jewelry and finds great joy in removing stubborn stickers!

After closing his own aquarium business of 15+ years, Shawn Lake was looking to expand his skill set and began working for a friend’s concrete business. This work afforded him basic carpentry knowledge which led him into the construction business. He worked with a general contractor for eight years painting and performing general carpentry work. That general contractor also worked a lot with Lauren’s husband, Brad, so when the Barrés bought the business in early 2020, they asked him to come on as Closets In Order’s main installer. He was able to train under Ricardo (the primary installer for CIO’s previous owner) before taking over all of the installations when Ricardo moved to DFW to join the Inspired Closets DFW team. Shawn has quickly become a CIO client favorite!Shawn loves meeting people from all walks of life and having the opportunity to help make their home or office better by helping them get organized. He notes, “It's always great when the job is done and they see the end results for the first time and they just have a huge smile on their face.” We think it is Shawn’s work ethic and impeccable attention to detail that make him a vital part of the team. We truly couldn’t do this work without him!
When he isn’t installing custom storage solutions, Shawn can be found sailing on Cross Lake. He recently took up sailing and has found an odd love for rebuilding old sailboats. A fun fact about Shawn is that prior to his work in carpentry, he was primarily a professional musician. He has played with many local bands but he also toured all over the world playing Hammond Organ with 60’s legend Percy Sledge, singer of "When a Man Loves a Woman". While he no longer plays full time, he stills plays guitar and keyboard at Broadmoor Baptist Church and the Simple Church.
